Choosing Carley Payne Photography was the BEST decision we made with our wedding. Carley was so professional from the very beginning and made me feel as ease every second. Having had troubles with our original photographer and asking for advice on social media, Carley personally messaged me asking what she could do to help the situation. Not only did she offer advice, but she offered to take off the deposit that we lost with our original photographer off the total of her fee! I was overwhelmed with admiration of how kind she was. Amongst all the crazy that me wedding was, Carley managed to capture the most beautiful photographs of my husband and I. They are simply amazing! Almost a year after the wedding and I still get so emotional looking at what she was able to get on camera. For that I will be forever grateful. I completely loved the after care and follow up from Carley after the wedding and really felt her passion for this industry. Carley is the ultimate photo ninja/genius! Incredibly well priced, speedy turnaround (less than 3 weeks after the wedding) and truly beautiful photos. There was a great mix of candid, posed, fun and romantic, which is exactly what we wanted. Carley gave us some direction throughout the day, but mostly she just captured heartfelt moments, so that the final product is a true (but well-lit) reflection of a wonderful day. Carley was an absolute dream to work with right from the beginning. We had a small intimate ceremony on a rainy day, but Carley effortlessly captured the magic of the day, turning drizzle into dramatic. She was prepared with umbrellas, and as two people who don't automatically feel comfortable posing in front of a camera, she made us feel comfortable and we laughed the whole time, and that was definitely captured in the candid photos! She captured some gorgeous portraits of our families, and managed to capture the joy we both felt on the day. She got some gorgeous candid photos of our ceremony, and seemed to capture every single important moment; I don't know how, as she almost seemed to be in two places at once yet blended into the background. We didn't want typical 'posed' photos, but rather natural candid ones that encompassed the beautiful gardens we were in, and Carley nailed it. She sent some edited photos the following day, and we actually gasped out loud when we saw them. The full album that came a few weeks later was equally breath-taking.
