Nathania Springs | Lauren & Grant’s Wedding
Wedding Photography at Nathania Springs
Lauren & Grant’s wedding was my first time photographing at Nathania Springs – and I have to say I just simply love it there! It’s surrounded by the beautiful surrounds of the Dandenong Ranges and is so simple and gorgeous as a wedding venue.
My day started in Mooroolbark – 5 minutes from my home! I arrived at the girl’s house to photograph Lauren & her closest friends get ready for her big day at Nathania Springs, whilst my second photographer met the guys and photographed them. This was such an excitement filled time of the day, and the anticipation of what’s ahead was through the roof. I particularly loved that Lauren wanted to include her dog in some of the getting ready photos… I LOVE dogs!
The wedding ceremony was in the chapel at Nathania Springs, and I have to say it’s just stunning in there! The backlighting and architectural decals are beautiful. It’s also quite a spacious chapel so we were able to fit quite a large number of guests in there.
Location Photos & Reception
After the beautiful couple said ‘I do’ we ventured outside for some location photos with the bridal party. The brilliant thing about Nathania Springs is that you don’t need to go to an offsite location to take great photos, there is enough to work with at the venue.
This was also my first time photographing a ‘bridesman’ which is really on trend at the moment – it used to just be bridesmaids on the bride’s side and groomsmen on the groom’s side. Now, it’s quite common for the bride to include her male friends and the groom to include his female friends on their sides. This may be something you’re interested in?
The couple danced the night away with their family and friends and had a blast.
