Lyrebird Falls | Rochelle & Jason’s Wedding
Wedding Photography at Lyrebird Falls
Even the weather couldn’t dampen Rochelle & Jason’s spirits on the day of their wedding. Their wedding ceremony and reception was at the stunning Lyrebird Falls in the Dandenong Ranges, and I have to say – It’s one of my favourite venues to photograph. Actually, you can’t really go wrong with wedding photography in the Dandenong Ranges in general – it’s just absolutely gorgeous!
I spent the morning with the girls at a Loft in the Mill in Olinda, whilst my second photographer was photographing the boys pretty close by in Croydon.
We found ourselves constantly checking outside the window to see if the weather was going to clear up but even though it didn’t look hopeful for us, spirits were still high. You just couldn’t seem to wipe the smile off Rochelle’s face.
The morning was extremely relaxed and went by very quickly. A Loft in the Mill is a really great place to get ready if your wedding is in the Dandenongs. It’s close by and has plenty of open space.
Unfortunately, the rain didn’t hold out, but luckily the guests all had umbrellas so Rochelle & Jason were still able to have their dream wedding outside under the gazebo at Lyrebird Falls.
There were many guests there to celebrate the amazing day with the couple, and the celebrant was a close friend of Rochelle’s which made the ceremony that little more special.
Location Photos & Reception
Due to the rain, we were unable to experience the whole venue, for what it truly is – however, we made the most of what we were given and still got some amazing photos.
Rochelle & Jason – thank you so much for having me. It was truly a pleasure. And Lyrebird Falls – thank you for making the experience as easy as possible, you truly went above and beyond for us.
