Here are some of the main questions I get asked as a wedding photographer. If you have any questions about your wedding photography and they are not answered here, please get in touch.

Where are you based?

I’m based in Mooroolbark at the foot of the Dandenong Ranges & Yarra Valley but will travel anywhere in Victoria and even Australia.

Do you shoot with a second photographer?

I generally shoot with a second photographer, however, there are definitely times where I do recommend having one. Particularly with getting ready photos in the morning, if your schedule is tight, or there’s a fair distance between where you and your partner are getting ready a second photographer can be ideal, as I can’t be in two places at once 😉

I’m getting ready at a different location to the groom, is that ok?

Of course! I can take a look at your schedule and the timings of the day and see if I can make it to both locations before the ceremony. I do also have a team of fantastic second photographers if you need me to be in two places at the same time ????

I’m trying to plan my schedule, what time should you arrive in the morning?

Generally I recommend bridal prep coverage for 1.5 hours, with me arriving 30 minutes before the bride’s makeup is finished. This way, I’m able to get the details of the dress, shoes etc whilst the finishing touches of the makeup is being applied.

The guys are super easy, I usually only need 30 – 45 minutes with them! When I arrive, the guys should be in pants and a shirt and I will photograph them putting on the rest.

From past experience, this is usually the best timeline to stick to.

Do you charge any travel fees?

In most circumstances, I don’t charge extra travel fees. I only charge travel fees if your wedding is located 1.5 hours away from Mooroolbark and I have to stay in accommodation overnight.

How long does it take for us to receive our photos?

The editing process generally takes 4 weeks.

How many photos will we receive?

There is absolutely no limit to the amount of photos you will receive. As each wedding is different, the amount of photos delivered ranges. Generally you will receive approximately 600-900 images, but this does not mean it will be limited to that number. I will give you every single good photo.

Do you watermark your images?

No. Your images are meant for printing so they will not be watermarked.

Do you supply high resolution images?

Yes, my purpose as your photographer is to provide high quality photographs for not only your enjoyment but also that of your family and friends for many years of enjoyment.

Will the images be edited?

Yes! All the delivered photos will go through basic editing, which includes colour correction and brightness and contrast adjustments.

Do you do videography?

I have considered bringing on board videography services but have decided against it. It is with your best interests in mind, that I remain a specialist photographer. I can however, recommend some videographers for you to get in touch with.

How long will you stay for?

I stay for the entire day! All of my wedding packages cover you from start to finish, making sure that your entire day is captured and you aren’t forced to sacrifice any memories.
